Troops respond to Ella bus tragedy

Sri Lanka Army personnel, including members of the Commando Regiment and Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment, are seen conducting a high-risk rescue operation late at night to retrieve injured passengers from a bus that plunged nearly 500 meters into a ravine near the Mount 07 Hotel on the Ella–Wellawaya road. Acting on the directives of the Army Commander Lasantha Rodrigo, over 200 troops to save lives following the tragic crash that claimed at least 15 lives and left many critically injured.
