Millions had their eyes on the skies last night as a rare total lunar eclipse shone around the world.  During a total lunar eclipse, Earth lines up between the moon and the sun, hiding the moon from sunlight. As a result, the moon turns a deep, dark red – hence the 'blood moon' title. (Daily Mail)
