Newly-elected President Ranil Wickremesinghe today visited the Gangarama Temple, Colombo where he told journalists of his intention for a system change and engage in cooperative politics. Ran Wickremesinghe was elected as the eighth Executive President of Sri Lanka by Parliament following the resignation of Gotabaya Rajapaksa over a week ago. Pix by Pradeep Pathirana
