Painting and sculpture competition...

Chamupathi Sandeepa (Grade 12/13) of De La Salle College, Colombo, won first place in the sculpture category at the recently held All-Ceylon Painting and Sculpture Competition.

Kaweesha Deshan (Grade 12/13) secured third place, while Dileesha Hirushan (Grade 10/11) won sixth place in the same competition.

Brennan Fernando (Grade 12/13) of De La Salle College also received a Certificate of Merit.

De La Salle College brought pride to the institution by being the only school to advance to the provincial level of the competition.

The students’ remarkable achievements were guided and inspired by their art teacher, Mr. Salinda Bandara, who played a key role in leading them to All-Ceylon recognition.
