Kataragama Esala Festival begins

The annual Esala Festival and Perahera of the Kataragama Maha Devalaya started yesterday night (17). The festival will conclude with the Perahera on July 31 and the water cutting ceremony will be held the following morning. Pix by Nisal Baduge
