General Silva visits injured soldiers

General Shavendra Silva, the Chief of Defence Staff visited the injured military personnel whom were assault by the protesters whilst preventing them entering the Parliament Premises at Polduwa Junction on Thursday. Visiting the total of 29 Army soldiers and a Constable of Sri Lanka Police who are under medical treatment at the Army Hospital, Colombo, General Shavendra Silva inquired their medical status.
