Western Province Governor Hanif Yusoof declared open the second day of the Buddha Rashmi Vesak Zone in Colombo on May 13, 2025. The event is jointly organized by the Hunupitiya Gangaramaya Temple, the Presidential Secretariat, and the Prime Minister’s Office. The ceremony was graced by the Chief Incumbent of the Hunupitiya Gangaramaya Temple, Ven. (Dr.) Kirinde Assaji Thero; Deputy Minister of Digital Economy, Eng. Eranga Weeraratne; and President’s Secretary, Nandika Sanath Kumanayake. The Buddha Rashmi Vesak Zone will continue until May 16. Pix by Pradeep Pathirana
