The 91st "Aviation Dream" program, organized by Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka (CAASL) to attract students from remote areas of the country to the aviation sector, was held yesterday morning (23) at the CAASL auditorium.

Around 200 students and 15 teachers from 11 schools representing various regions participated in the program.

As the second phase of the event, the students were invited to the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Katunayake, where they were given the opportunity to learn about its various divisions and departments. They also visited SriLankan Airlines’ aircraft and gained hands-on experience.

The program included an award ceremony to recognize resource persons who have contributed to educating students and teachers about the aviation sector.
