12th Galle Dialogue Maritime conference begins

The 12th edition of the Galle Dialogue International Maritime Conference commenced today under the patronage of Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya at the Wave n’ Lake Navy Hall in Welisara.

Organized by the Sri Lanka Navy, the two-day high-level forum brings together senior representatives, naval leaders, and maritime experts from 34 countries and 14 international organizations.

Held under the theme “Maritime Outlook of the Indian Ocean under Changing Dynamics,” the conference aims to foster strategic dialogue and regional cooperation in pursuit of a secure, prosperous, and sustainable maritime future.

The Galle Dialogue has grown into a prominent platform for promoting maritime security, collaboration, and information-sharing among Indian Ocean stakeholders. Pic by- Jayamal Chandrasiri
