Trading halted at CSE as S&P SL20 Index falls over 5%

The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) announced that the market has been halted.

In a notice on the CSE website, the market operator said that a trading halt has been imposed for a duration of 30 minutes due to the S&P SL20 index dropping over 5 percent from the previous close, as set out in SEC Directive dated 30th April 2020.
