IMF first review from September 14 to 27

The first review of Sri Lanka’s US$ 3 billion Extended Fund Facility (EFF) from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will be held between September 14 and 27.
“A team from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is scheduled to visit Colombo between September 14 and 27, 2023, to conduct the first review of the Extended Fund Facility arrangement for Sri Lanka,” an IMF spokesperson said.
Sri Lanka’s four-year EFF arrangement was approved in March by the IMF Executive Board and received the first tranche of US$ 330 million later on.
