CSE trading hours extended by further 30 mins

The trading hours of the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) have been extended by a further half an hour, with effect from November 01.
In an earlier occasion, the trading hours were extended by half an hour, with effect from September 15.

As per yesterday’s announcement by the CSE, trading will close at 1:00 p.m., instead of 12:30 p.m. As usual, regular trading will start at 10:00 a.m. 
The CSE said the decision to extend trading hours was taken in consultation with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
