Akbar Brothers continues UoC Alumni Partnership for 2022/2023

Akbar Brothers Group, the leading tea exporter and conglomerate, extended its memorandum of understanding with the Alumni Association of the University of Colombo (UoC), for another year up to 2023.
The UoC Alumni Partnership Programme is a continuing initiative of the Alumni Association of the UoC, which represents all alumni of the UoC, to work closely with leading private and public sector organisations to provide opportunities for enhanced corporate sector involvement and support in the UoC’s activities.

Formed in 1982, the Alumni Association of the UoC is an apex body of the alumni of various faculties of the university, forming a link between its membership and the university. The members of the association comprise all alumni, who have passed out of the UoC.
