Sri Lanka has collected Rs.107.1 billion from Advance Personal Income Tax (APIT) in the first nine months of the year, surpassing the Rs.100 billion target set for the period, State Finance Minister Ranjith Siyambalapitiya said.
Sri Lanka hiked personal income tax rates, including payroll taxes in 2023 and lowered slabs.
Siyambalapitiya said the government expects to achieve Rs.150 billion from APIT by the end of this year.
