Printcare to set up packaging company in Kenya

Printcare PLC, a leading printing and packaging company in the country said it is setting up a fully-fledged packaging company in Kenya.

A stock market filing said the Printcare Group through Printcare PLC and its subsidiaries will hold a 69.7 percent stake in the entity.

“Further information on same will be announced on finalisation of the current negotiations in progress with the connected parties,” the filing said.

Printcare is a design-to-delivery printing and packaging solutions provider having initially made its reputation supplying printing and packaging solutions to the world’s tea industry. 

The group has diversified considerably and its current customer portfolio includes firms in almost all categories of industry including beverages, pharmaceuticals, apparel, FMCG, publishing, telecom, financial services, tobacco and lotteries.
