Nippon Paints wins two NBEA Golds

Nippon Paints Lanka, one of the island’s largest paint manufacturers, was adjudged the Gold award winner at the recently held National Business Excellence Awards (NBEA) 2016, an annual competition conducted by the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (NCCSL) to recognize local business enterprises for 
their excellence. 
They also aim to encourage Sri Lankan organisations to position the country as one that has excellently managed organisations, which make it attractive for joint ventures, investments, and as a source for products and services.
“Nippon Paints is proud and delighted with the win. This award further affirms our position as one of the largest paint manufacturers in Sri Lanka and also Asia. ‘It gives us the endorsement that we are the best in the country and we will continue to innovate and give our customers the best possible service,” said Nippon Paint Lanka (Pvt.) Nippon Paint was recognized in two specific areas and secured the two Gold awards in the Large and Manufacturing categories. The evaluation criteria and model consisted of eight perspectives: leadership, corporate governance, capacity building, performance management, local and global market reach, corporate social responsibility and environmental sustainability, and business and financial results.
