Malaysian Foreign Minister visits BOI

Dr. Zambry Abd Kadir, Minister of Foreign Affairs Malaysia– Head of the Malaysian Delegation met with the Chairman of The Board of Investment of Sri Lanka (BOI) Dinesh Weerakkody, and officials of both the BOI, Colombo Port City Economic Commission and private sector representatives to discuss the current economic climate and investment opportunities in both Colombo Port City and on shore. 

The Foreign Minister was accompanied by Dato’ Syed Mohamad Bakri Syed Abdul Rahman - Undersecretary, South and Central Asia Division, Ahmad Kamrizamil Mohd Riza- Undersecretary, Regional Cooperation and D-8 Division, Abdilbar Ab. Rashid -  Special Officer Foreign Minister’s Office,  Badli Hisham Adam - High Commissioner of Malaysia to Sri Lanka, Mohammad Tuming - Counsellor, Aneurin Ignatius -First Secretary, Abdul Rahman Adun -Second Secretary, Muhammad Faqrul Syazwan bin Mohd Fauzi - Special Assistant to the Minister participated in the discussions at the BOI office yesterday.
