The ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification attests to LB Finance’s unwavering commitment to information security, cyber resilience and privacy protection. Achieving this esteemed certification requires rigorous adherence to stringent criteria governing establishing, implementing, maintaining and enhancing Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) within an organisation.
As a result of this achievement, LB Finance customers can continue to place their trust in a financial institution that has gone the extra mile to safeguard their sensitive information. The ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification instils confidence and ensures that LB Finance continues to provide its customers with top-notch information security measures, cyber defences and privacy safeguards.

ISO/IEC 27001:2022 is the latest version of the internationally recognised standard for information security management. LB Finance’s certification, awarded by Bureau Veritas and published by the International Standards Organisation (ISO) in collaboration with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), reaffirms the company’s commitment to maintaining the highest information security standards.

The company successfully recertified its ISO 27001:2013 certification on information security for the third consecutive time in 2020, further solidifying its position as a leader in information security.
LB Finance PLC Chief Information Officer Chethana Kahandugoda expressed his enthusiasm for the achievement. He stated, “We are thrilled about this transition and expect our ISMS to streamline every facet of our business operations, ensuring uninterrupted business continuity. We sincerely thank Buddhika De Alwis and TrustVault team for their invaluable assistance during the certification process.”
