HNB-Access Solar provide solar loan solutions

HNB Senior Vice President and Head of Retail Banking Kanchana Karunagama and Access Solar Director Prasanna Dissanayake exchange MoU in the presence of representatives from both organisations

HNB PLC and Access Solar (Pvt.) Ltd have entered into a strategic partnership through a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at expanding the availability of solar energy solutions across Sri Lanka. 

The collaboration focuses on enabling the households and enterprises to transition toward renewable energy through accessible solar loan facilities supported by HNB.

The partnership brings together the financial strength of HNB and the technical expertise of Access Solar to support the customers in the domestic, commercial and industrial segments. 

The initiative is designed to strengthen the adoption of solar power systems across the urban and regional communities while supporting long-term energy resilience.

Under the partnership, the customers will benefit from tailored solar loan facilities with repayment periods extending up to seven years. Competitive interest structures aligned with selected tenures will provide structured repayment pathways that support investment planning for both households and businesses.
