Elephant House Super Heroes Season 3 crowns youth champions

After months of competition, creativity, and mentorship, Elephant House Super Heroes Season 3 came to a close at the Grand Finale held on October 18 at Stein Studios.

This year, over 135  schools islandwide competed in three dynamic categories, Super Chef, Super Harvester, and Super Entrepreneur under the guidance of industry experts and mentors. 

The programme emphasized practical, real-world learning starting from concept phase to market commercialization.

  • Super Chef: Pallekanugala Kanishta Vidyalaya
  • Super Harvester: Bandaragama Central College
  • Super Entrepreneur: Thambuttegama Central College

Runner-Up Highlights

  • Super Chef – 1st Runner-Up: Denike School, Rikillagaskada
  • Super Chef – 2nd Runner-Up: Gnanodaya Central College, Divulapitiya
  • Super Harvester – 1st Runner-Up: Mahabellankadawala Maha Vidyalaya
  • Super Harvester – 2nd Runner-Up: Buonavista College, Galle
  • Super Entrepreneur – 1st Runner-Up:, Kurunegala Janadhipathi Balika Vidyalaya
  • Super Entrepreneur – 2nd Runner-Up: Vidyaloka Central College, Balangoda

Special recognition also went to Denike School, who secured the Most Popular Concept award, reflecting both public support and originality.

This year’s programme spanned preliminary rounds from May, with semi-finals held between 27th September and 11th October, culminating in the grand finale on 18th October. Students took part in hands-on workshops,product pitching sessions, and visits to Cinnamon Hospitality Academy, John Keells Research Labs and Ceylon Cold Stores Head Office, documenting their journeys through digital journals designed to nurture reflection and continuous growth.
