AIA Insurance announces Rs.48 per share interim dividend

AIA Insurance Lanka PLC yesterday announced an interim dividend of Rs.48 per share payable by February 08, 2017 for the financial year 2016.
AIA Insurance reported a net profit of Rs.198.7 million or Rs.6.46 a share recording an increase of 40 percent year-on-year for the nine months ended September 30, 2016.
AIA Group had a 97.16 percent stake in AIA insurance Lanka PLC as at September 30, 2016. 
Total number of public shareholders as at the same date was 1,848 and the percentage of shareholding was 2.84 percent.
