Video: Vaas’s wife warned by Magistrate

The wife of the accused former DIG Vaas Gunawardena had been warned today by the Magistrate not to interfere with the witnesses.

She was noticed to appear in the Colombo Magistrate’s Court on July 9 however she appeared today filing a motion citing that she would not be able to attend court on that day.

She had been noticed to appear in the court to inquire on an alleged intimidation to a wife of a witness, in the murder case of millionaire businessman. The former DIG is charged with the murder. (T. Farook Thajudeen) (Pix by Samantha Perera)
