Met.warns of strong winds

The Met Department said this evening that, due to the active South-West monsoonal conditions, strong south-westerly winds would continue to prevail over the island and surrounding seas.

“There will be an increase of the monsoon winds, and strong winds are to be expected in most parts of the country,” the Met department said.
