Court orders S’gamuwa undergrads to leave hostels

Sabaragamuwa University students who had defied orders to leave their hostels within the university premises were ordered to be removed by the Balangoda District Judge today.

The university administration decided to close down the university on October 5 until further notice and had ordered all students to leave their hostels.

However several students had been remaining in the hostels despite the decision to close down the university due to an issue over hostels. (Prince Ratnayake)
