Welisara Economic Centre closed for 10 days

The Dedicated Economic Centre in Welisara will be closed for ten days from today after identifying 28 COVID-19 positive persons, the Economic Centre Manager H.M.D Upali said.

He told the Daily Mirror that the positive cases were reported after 170 PCR tests were conducted recently.

Accordingly, the officials of the Wattala Health authority had advised closing the Economic Centre for 10 days with immediate effect. They also advised conducting another PCR test on the tenth day.

"22 business premises have been closed due to COVID positive cases," Upali said. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
