Udayanga Weeratunga granted bail

Colombo, Jan 17 (Daily Mirror) - Former Sri Lankan Ambassador to Russia, Udayanga Weeratunga, who was remanded over the assault of a neighbor, was released on bail by the Nugegoda Magistrate’s Court.

He was arrested by the Mirihana Police in connection with an incident involving the assault of a neighbor on January 10 and was remanded until today.

The Magistrate ordered Weeratunga to be released on a Rs. 10,000 cash bail and two personal bails.
