Too early to comment on government: Maithri

Colombo, June 29 (Daily Mirror) - Former President Maithripala Sirisena said it is too early to comment on the government and that one or two years must pass for one to comment.

"We cannot comment on the government right now. One or two years must go. We cannot predict soon after a baby is born," he told reporters.

When asked about the government taking action to bring those involved in fraud and corruption, he said fraud and corruption still take place despite action being taken.
