Ramanathan Archchuna creates commotion in Parliament

Colombo, Feb 05 (Daily Mirror) - Independent MP Ramanathan Archchuna created a commotion in Parliament today, resulting in Speaker Jagath Wickramaratne deciding to expunge various statements he made.

The commotion took place when the MP raised a privilege issue regarding his recent arrest in Anuradhapura.

The Speaker decided to expunge degrading remarks made by the MP in the House.
