North-Western Province Governor Raja Kollure passed away at the age of 83 while receiving treatment for COVID-19, family sources said.
He was admitted to a hospital after being infected with the virus on December 03.
Kollure served as an MP and the Chairman of the Communist Party of Sri Lanka
