Police urge all govt. & private institutions to update employee database

All government and private institutions are requested to update their employees’ details within three-days, Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said.

He said that updated information of employees is of extreme importance given the current health situation in the country.

"With the detection of Covid-19 within the Minuwangoda apparel factory, the security and health services experienced difficulty in finding the current addresses and telephone numbers of these workers. Therefore, we urge all heads of institutions to update their employees' details,” he said. (DSB)
