Police reveal fresh information in Thajudeen murder case

Colombo, Sept. 30 (Daily Mirror) - Police today (30) confirmed that Anura Vidanagamage, alias “Kajja”, who was recently shot dead along with his two children in Middeniya, had been in the vehicle that followed the late rugby player Wasim Thajudeen’s car moments before his death.

Acting Police Spokesman ASP Minura Senarath told reporters in Colombo that the revelation was made during investigations into the killing of Kajja. 

The information had surfaced following the interrogation of underworld figure ‘Backhoe Saman’, who was arrested in Indonesia and is suspected of orchestrating Kajja’s murder.
