Over 92,000 applications received for 1,989 Health Assistant vacancies

Colombo, May 22 (Daily Mirror) - More than 92,000 applications have been received for the recruitment of 1,989 vacancies for the post of Health Assistant (Junior) Grade III in government hospitals and healthcare institutions, the Ministry of Health and Mass Media stated.

The first phase of structured interviews for the recruitment process commenced yesterday (21) at the Ministry premises in Castle Street.

The recruitments are being carried out for vacancies existing in the districts of Colombo, Gampaha, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Galle, Jaffna, Ampara, Trincomalee, and Anuradhapura.

According to the Ministry, 2,800 applicants from the Western Province who qualified for the interviews have been called for the structured interviews scheduled for yesterday (21) and today (22).

Structured interviews are also scheduled to be held on Sunday (24) in the Galle District of the Southern Province and the Nuwara Eliya District of the Central Province.
