Over 7,000 PCR test results still awaited in Gampaha district

More than 18,000 PCR tests have been conducted in the Gampaha District till now and results of 7,020 persons are yet to be released, Regional Medical Health Officer Dr. Migara Epa said.

He said that a total of 39 corona virus-infected workers have been reported within the Katunayake Free Trade Zone and 16 more have been found from factories outside the zone.

He said that a total of 89 cases have been reported in the Gampaha District alone within last 24-hour. (T.K.G. Kapila)
