Over 1500 PCR tests within yesterday

Some 1,553 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests were carried out within Monday (27), the Director General of Health Services Dr. Anil Jasinghe said.
He said that it was the highest number of PCR tests conducted within a day.
Meanwhile, he said that facilities for PCR tests are now available at 16 institutions including the Batticaloa hospital.
