Opposition parties collectively outperform NPP in many areas

Colombo, May 7 (Daily Mirror) - The Opposition parties have been able to outnumber the ruling National People's Power (NPP) in a number of local authorities. 

It means these parties, if united, can elbow out the NPP from taking charge of the councils. 

According to Opposition MP Mujibur Rahman, the Opposition parties have collectively outperformed the NPP in the Colombo Municipal Council as well.
