Lanka IOC increases fuel prices across categories

Colombo, March 22 (Daily Mirror) - Lanka IOC PLC (LIOC) has announced an increase in fuel prices across several categories, effective from today (22).

According to the company, the price of Lanka Auto Diesel has been increased by Rs. 79 to Rs. 382 per litre, while Lanka Super Diesel has risen by Rs. 129 to Rs. 572 per litre.

In the petrol category, Octane 92 Petrol has been increased by Rs. 81 to Rs. 398 per litre, while Octane 95 Petrol has gone up by Rs. 32 to Rs. 487 per litre.

The price of kerosene has also been increased by Rs. 60, bringing the new rate to Rs. 255 per litre.

LIOC has also revised prices of its premium fuel products. Accordingly, XtraGreen Diesel is now priced at Rs. 588 per litre, XtraMile Diesel at Rs. 551 per litre, and XtraPremium Petrol at Rs. 465 per litre.
