Knuckles Spring Water enters the Bahrain market

Knuckles Spring Water, produced by Sri Lanka’s Cargills (Ceylon) PLC, has officially entered the Bahraini market with the support of the Sri Lankan Embassy in the Kingdom of Bahrain. This marks the first time a Cargills-manufactured product has been introduced to Bahrain.

Sourced from the unspoiled Knuckles Mountain range, the spring water is bottled at the source to retain its natural mineral content and purity. It will be made available in both glass and PET bottles through the popular Al Jazira Supermarket chain.

A notable feature of the product is the inclusion of Braille lettering on the glass bottles, allowing visually impaired consumers to easily identify it—demonstrating a commitment to accessibility and inclusivity.

This move aligns with the Embassy’s ongoing efforts to promote value-added Sri Lankan exports and build brand recognition under its wider economic diplomacy initiatives.
