It’s heartening to know NPP has recognised reality regarding India: Eran

Colombo, April 8 (Daily Mirror) - It's heartning to know that the NPP government has finally recognised the importance of India, former MP Eran Wickramaratne told an Indian TV channel today.

"It's hearting to know the NPP government has changed its stance and had recognised the importance of India and that it is one of the fastest growing nation in the globe, Wickramaratne told Indian TV Channel NewsX.

" However, the government should win the trust of the people and should share the details on the agreements signed during the visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The agreements are important but they should not harm Sri Lanka's culture and sovereignty, " he added.
