Colombo, May 1 (Daily Mirror) - The government has initiated investigations into high profile cases where an investigating officer is currently overseas with regard to the Easter Sunday bomb attacks probes, President Anura Kumara Dissanayake said today.

Speaking at the NPP Colombo district May Day rally in Maharagama, he said some crimes have been committed in 2009.

"It will take time to investigate these incidents. But we will do it," he said.

The President said 15 high profile cases, including ten corruption cases and five criminal cases linked to politicians are lined up before courts this month.
