Govt still pursuing Arjuna Mahendran’s return

Colombo, April 8 (Daily Mirror)- The government has not given up on bringing former Central Bank Governor Arjuna Mahendran back to the country at the first opportunity, Cabinet spokesman Nalinda Jayatissa said.

Addressing the media, he said that legal barriers have hindered efforts to bring Mahendran back to Sri Lanka.

"The government is making every effort to extradite him. Our goal is to ensure he is returned to the country," he said.
