Gammanpila arrested

UPFA MP Udaya Gammanpila says he has been arrested by the Police Special Investigation Unit (SIU) a short while ago.

He was arrested over a complaint that he had used an allegedly fraudulent Power of Attorney to sell shares of an Australian company.
