EC publishes list of candidates contesting LG polls

The Elections Commission has published the list of names of the candidates of the independent groups and recognized political parties who will contest for each local government body in the local government election to be held on March 9.

The list is available on the Election Commission's official website www.elections.gov.lk. 

The QR code containing the list of names arranged in the order mentioned in the nomination paper has been released accordingly.

The Commission said relevant information can be obtained by scanning the QR code.(DSB)
