Certain interested organisations trying to legalise gay marriages in Sri Lanka

Colombo, July 27 (Daily Mirror) - While alleging that certain interested organisations are trying to legalise gay marriages in Sri Lanka, Archbishop of Colombo Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith said such marriages are not a human right.

"Certain interested organisations are trying to legalise gay marriages in Sri Lanka. They claim such marriages are legalised in other parts of the world. Such marriages between men and men and between women and women are not a human right," he said speaking during a religious service at St. Mary's Church, Beruwala.
