CMC declares emergency disaster response period from October 16 to 18

Colombo, Oct. 16 (Daily Mirror) - The Colombo Municipal Council (CMC) has declared an emergency disaster response period from October 16 to 18, 2025.

The CMC said in its website that "in response to the emergency disaster situation declared from October 16 to 18, the Colombo Municipal Council is fully prepared and on standby to assist you."

The CMC has announced two telephone numbers for inquiries: 011-2422222 and emergency hotline: 011-2686087
