AKD tops Hambantota District with over 200,000 votes

Colombo, Sep 22 (Daily Mirror) - NPP presidential candidate Anura Kumara Dissanayake secured victory in the Hambantota District obtaining 221,913 (51.96%) votes.

SJB presidential candidate Sajith Premadasa came second securing 131,500 (30.79%) votes while independent presidential candidate Ranil Wickremesinghe came third with 33,217 (7.78%) votes.

SLPP presidential candidate Namal Rajapaksa obtained 26,707 (6.25%) in the Hambantota District.
