408 Covid-19 patients reported from WP yesterday

A total of 408 Covid-19 patients were reported from the Western Province yesterday, according to National Operation Centre for Prevention of Covid-19.

Accordingly, total of 207 Covid-19 patients were reported from the Gampaha District while 201 patients were reported from the Colombo district. National Operation Centre for Prevention of Covid-19 said a total of 586 Covid-19 cases were reported yesterday.

Among them, 37 patients from Kotahena, 32 from Borella, 20 from Dematagoda and 18 patients from Narahenpita were reported in the Colombo district.

Out of the cases in the Gampaha District, 55 Covid-19 patients were identified from Negombo while patients were also reported from Galle, Badulla, Nuwara Eliya, Hambantota and Kegalle Districts.
