1,113 arrested in special police operation

A total of 1,113 individuals were arrested over various offences during a special operation carried out by police in the Western Province from 6.00 pm yesterday to 6.00 am today.

Police said that 685 suspects arrested for drug-related offences and 424 persons, who were issued arrest warrants also arrested during the operation.
