Avishka slams first double ton

Colts CC opener Avishka Perera slammed the first double ton of the Major Club three day cricket tournament which got underway yesterday when he made an unbeaten 210 inclusive of 17 boundaries and three sixes against Kandy Customs CC on day one in the match played at the Colts ground.

Avishka associated in a mammoth 294 runs stand for the second wicket with Hashan Dumindu who made 130 with 12 boundaries and six for Colts CC taking first lease of the wicket to end the day with a massive score of 409 for 3.

Tons by Lasith Croospulle and Thanuka Dabare helped Ace Capital CC to make a formidable score of 471 runs against Saracens SC at Reid Avenue and a ton by Pasindu Sooriyabandara saw Moors SC ending day one 429 for 6 against Lankan CC aat Braybrooke Place.
