Allergic condition spreads to Colombo

At least 86 students in Minuwangoda, Dematagoda, Ampara and Balangoda have been admitted to hospitals today, as a result of an alleged allergic reaction, hospital sources said.
Accordingly, seven students of Anuruddha Girls School in Dematagoda have been admitted to the Lady Ridgeway Children's Hospital in Borella.
About 30 students of Polwatta Rathanasara School were admitted to the Minuwangoda hospital and 25 students of Gamini Maha Vidyalaya were admitted to the Ampara hospital while 24 students of Pinnawala Udagama Maha Vidyalaya were admitted to the Balangoda hospital.
