Colombo, April 11 - A 23-year-old woman was discovered dead under suspicious circumstances at a hotel in Avissawella, Police said.
The Avissawella Police were alerted after the individual accompanying the deceased woman reported her unconscious state to the hotel management.
Upon receiving the call, Crime Scene Investigation Officers from the Sitawaka Police Division rushed to the scene and initiated investigations.
The deceased is a resident of Walapane.
